Liberian international Mo Sangare has completed a move to English side Morecambe FC, a club that currently competes in the fifth tier of English football. The 25-year-old midfielder joins the Shrimps as he looks to revive his career and reestablish himself in English football after stints across Europe.

Sangare, who began his professional career with Newcastle United, spent time developing in the Premier League club’s youth ranks but found limited opportunities with the senior team. He later embarked on loan spells to gain experience before eventually moving to Switzerland, where he played for AC Bellinzona in the Swiss Challenge League, the country’s second division.

Now, the versatile midfielder is set for a fresh start at Morecambe. His arrival is expected to bring stability, energy, and international experience to the club’s midfield as they aim to fight for promotion back into the Football League.

Sangare, who has represented Liberia at the senior international level, is widely regarded for his strong tackling, physical presence, and ability to dictate play from deep midfield positions. His move to Morecambe is also a positive development for Liberian football, showcasing the nation’s growing presence in European leagues.
