Swedish Allsvenskan club Hammarby IF has announced the permanent transfer of Liberian midfielder Saah Moses from Discoveries, marking a significant step in the player's burgeoning European career. Moses, who has agreed to a four-year contract, will primarily feature for Hammarby’s feeder team, HTTF, which competes in the third tier of Swedish football.

The 22-year-old, known for his versatility and technical ability, recently made a loan move to Hammarby earlier this year. The club’s management was impressed with his performances and opted to secure his services on a full-time basis. His signing signals Hammarby’s commitment to nurturing young talent through their development system, with Moses expected to gain valuable experience at HTTF before potentially making an impact in the top flight.

Moses’s arrival continues Hammarby’s strategic focus on African and Scandinavian talent. Notably, he is the second Liberian to join the club within a year. The first, Divine Teah, was signed in 2024 for €115,000 before being swiftly transferred to Slavia Prague for €3.5 million less than a year later. The rapid valuation increase underscores Hammarby’s shrewd scouting and development capabilities.

Hammarby’s approach has garnered attention for its successful talent pipeline, combining affordable signings with lucrative sales. Moses’s deal highlights the club’s ambitions to develop young players and establish themselves as a stepping stone for African talents seeking European exposure.

As Moses prepares for his new chapter, fans and analysts will be watching closely to see if he can follow in Teah’s footsteps by making a quick leap to higher levels within European football, further cementing Hammarby’s reputation for developing promising players from Africa.
