TEDDYRIDE EMPOWERS YOUTH WITH 20 MOTORBIKES AFTER VIRAL “TOILETING MONEY” POST

Liberia’s award-winning artist and entertainment heavyweight, Teddyride, has turned an unexpected social-media moment into a powerful act of youth empowerment.

Barely 24 hours after posting his now-viral bathroom photos, where he was seen “toileting money” as part of his usual comedic content, the superstar says he was struck by something deeper.

According to him, it wasn’t the jokes or the trolling that caught his attention, but the comments from hundreds of young people wishing they had that kind of money to start a business or change their lives.

Teddyride said the reality of youth unemployment reflected in those comments touched him.

So instead of responding with another joke, he decided to respond with impact.

In what he describes as “his own small way,” Teddyride purchased 20 brand-new motorbikes from Doka at Khalifa Motors, a move aimed at empowering young people who are currently out of jobs.

“It was the comments that pushed me,” he said. “I realized how many young people are struggling to start something. So I decided to do something immediate, something that can help somebody feed their family.”

The star now plans to launch “TEDDYRIDE DELIVERY”, a youth-focused initiative that will empower 25 young aspiring Liberians using the newly purchased motorbikes. Each bike will be used to create opportunities—delivery services, commercial riding, or small start-up ventures, to help young people earn daily income.

What started as a joke has now turned into a beacon of hope.

Teddyride has sent a strong message: real influence is not just about going viral, it’s about lifting people up.
