GANTA, NIMBA COUNTY – The Political Leader of the Citizens Movement for Change (CMC) and Representative of Nimba County District #7, Hon. Musa Hassan Bility, has pledged significant support to the Ganta General Market, one of the busiest commercial centers in Nimba County.

During a visit on Thursday, August 28, Rep. Bility announced a One Million Liberian Dollars loan scheme for market women. The initiative is designed to expand small businesses, empower traders, and improve livelihoods for hundreds of families who depend on the market for survival.

In addition to the loan facility, Bility promised to donate a brand-new pickup and deploy a yellow machine for a two-day sanitation exercise aimed at clearing waste and enhancing hygiene in the market. According to him, improving the market’s sanitary condition is just as important as strengthening its business activities.

“This intervention is about supporting the women who are the backbone of our market economy and ensuring that Ganta remains a safe and healthy place to trade,” Bility emphasized.

The announcement was warmly received by marketers and residents, many of whom described the intervention as both timely and impactful. They noted that better sanitation and access to credit would ease daily challenges while boosting commercial growth in the city.

Rep. Bility reaffirmed his commitment to promoting economic empowerment and improving living conditions across Nimba County.
