As the newly appointed President of World Girls Football Club, Mollyn Jarbo is shaping not only women’s football but also helping young girls become more self-reliant beyond the game.

Under her leadership, World Girls is going beyond the pitch. The club is investing in the capacity of young Liberian women through education and entrepreneurship, ensuring that players and beneficiaries have opportunities to thrive both during and after their football careers.

With this visionary mindset, Miss Jarbo is changing the narrative of women’s football and the Liberian league at large—proving that the game must be taken seriously as both a professional sport and a platform for empowerment.

In preparation for the upcoming league season, World Girls has strengthened its squad by signing 12 new players—a blend of 6 foreign-based stars and 6 local talents. The foreign players are already in Liberia and are actively training with the rest of the squad ahead of the highly anticipated Super Club clash against Determine Girls on October 5 in Nimba County.

Far from being just a beauty queen, Mollyn Jarbo’s journey in sports started as early as age seven. Over the years, she has earned international recognition, serving as Miss Liberia-USA and Miss United Nations. With such accolades and exposure, she is well-positioned to transform the dynamics of women’s football in Liberia, merging elegance, discipline, and vision into leadership.

Truly, Mollyn Jarbo is not only the Princess of Women’s Football but also a rising force redefining the future of the game in Liberia.
